So much silly bugger shit has gone down since I last posted to this blog. This is not to say I haven't been busy writing in other forums about all sorts of topics. For one thing, I have finished several manuscripts for books that I have published at #Amazon as #eBooks. A couple of the titles were initially publishe a few years ago, but two of them needed their 3rd of 3 for the trilogy.

1. A US President lost an election by a wild popular and Electoral College vote but still refuses to acknowledge it more than a year later.

2. In fact he has fomented so much discord that people lay siege to the Capitol and now are either intransigent or contrite about it.

3. Some rioters had such troubled personal lives their significant others and family members turned them in to the FBI.

4. A virus pandemic has shaken the global stage crippling some economies. The dire outcomes were made far worse by the utter turmoil caused by those people who refuse to believe the virus exists or if it does exist, it is not so bad.

5. People refuse vaccinations due to their claims of micro-chips, experimental status, not knowing what is in the vaccine, chemtrails, lizard people, cannibalistic Illuminati, the kitchen sink, conservative political beliefs and MAGA.

6. People advocate taking horse the dewormer, Ivermectin, and drinking urine to save themselves from the Rona. Drinking urine? Yeah, they do that.

9. JFK, Jr. is not really dead and will reappear to become The Former Guy's running mate in 2024, even though one is a fascist dictator wannabe and the other is a staunch Democrat.

NASA Restarts the Sun

After the fire went out in the Sun a week ago, NASA Engineers finally got the pilot light re-lit and have fired up it up to full temperature. A special heroes' welcome is planned for Bruce Willis, Morgan Freedman, Sam Rockwell and Tommy Lee Jones for their selfless acts of bravery in delivering two thermonuclear devices recently acquired from North Korea and Iran in marathon negotiations. A memorial service is also in the works for Steve Buscemi who tragically did not return.

Byzantine Comcast

Comcast customer service at their facilities is byzantine in its procedures. To drop off the old modem which they will assuredly throw away they wanted to have me check in and wait in the cue. They took the modem off my hands to scan it for the account info and handed me a ticket for when I would be called up to complete the return and be given a receipt. The most silly bugger part of this is the amount of action taken to queue me up was more than the actual return process. If the bureaucratic silly buggers set up the correct process the return would have been done by the time the clerk printed the queue ticket. But nooooo!

Final count: 35 minutes on-site. The day before I had picked up a new router set and was out of there in 10.

I should have been able to just toss it in the trash or recycle it. They would know if it got reused because of its unique MAC address. They won't be using it ever again, so WTF is their problem?
